SABC Education Outreach projects support the content that the department produces. The Outreach Projects focuses on the daily issues that face the society. The projects range from Early Childhood Development (ECD) workshops, Career Guidance for students, Gender Based Violence and Femicide, Old Age Issues and more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

EARLY CHILDHOOD
DEVELOPMENT(ECD)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The SABC Education workshops encourages positive thinking, learning behaviors, reading, teamwork, and respect for one another.
Little kids are the future of our society; therefore, it is important to nurture these young minds so that they become responsible citizens tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early Childhood Development (ECD) is a comprehensive approach to programmes and policies for children from birth
to seven years of age. Its purpose is to protect the rights of children to develop their full cognitive, emotional, social, and physical potential.
The goal of ECD programmes is to improve young children’s capacity to develop and learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CAREER WORKSHOPS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The SABC Career Guidance provides educational opportunities for the students to learn about key career readiness skills and topics. These Career Guidance Workshops span a gamut of topics including navigating different career options and exploring majors at tertiary level. They help students to acquire the knowledge, information, skills, and experience necessary to identify career options, then narrow them down to make a career decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SABC Education focuses on helping the Youth with challenges that they face daily. Today\u2019s world is explosive. There are several social issues facing teens today that other generations did not encounter. Technology is prevalent, with new gargets mushrooming all the time. It influences the way society receives information. Social Media has impacted the way the society, especially youth, interact and the manner they communicate with each other. The abuse of Social Media has led in bullying, resulting in unhappy endings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
