Your first issue is free but a reissue will cost you R15
(if your ID was lost, stolen or damaged). |

A fee of R15 is also payable in respect of a TIC (Temporary Identification Certificate), and this will also require an applicant to furnish two ID-size photographs. It should be noted that a TIC will only be issued to a person who requests the issuance thereof, and that it is mandatory under these circumstances to apply for both a TIC and the re-issuance of an ID. The total cost for both these enabling documents amounts to R30 and this excludes the cost of four ID-size photographs. |
