I AM Emerge creative agency is set to launch an informal business development platform in a form of an App in the Alexandra Township on the 27th May 2017 at San Kopano Hall, 12th Avenue from 11h00 am to 16h00.
The Vuleka Initiative is a grassroots economic development initiative focused on growing townships based businesses (both formal & Informal).
The App will facilitate bulk purchases of goods sold by township based businesses.
Here is what you need to know:
Our large network of township based businesses form a collective purchase power that will enable us to negotiate better deals when buying in bulk.
We pass this saving onto the traders. The orders then get delivered to them, saving them time and money. The app is linked to a virtual wallet meaning that purchases are cashless but payments accepted include card swipes and cash limited to a certain amount.
The Vuleka App has 2 user interfaces, one for the business owner where he makes the orders/purchases and pays for them with the virtual wallet after delivery.
The second is for the consumer who buys from the business owner, the consumer can pay for good from a registered business using the app. This gives them the option to pay for the goods remotely and someone else to collect the goods from the business owner.
