The KwaZulu-Natal Education Department says the 2012 matric results have improved from 73% to 75% after the supplementary examinations were written.
Rights group Section 27 says there is still some schools without textbooks in Limpopo. This as the trial against a Limpopo Education Department official, Tsakani Kubayi, is expected to resume in the Giyani Regional Court. Kubayi was arrested last year following the discovery of about 700 textbooks dumped on the banks of Nsami Dam in Giyani.
