DURBAN FILM OFFICE ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF ‘MY REEL STORIES MONTHLY EVENT’ FOR BUDDING FILMMAKERS

As of the end of November 2012, the Durban Film Office will host a monthly networking event for budding filmmakers. The initiative has been designed to meet the growing need to develop a film culture in Durban to support the development of a robust film industry.

ABI LAUNCHES A SCHOOL RECYCLING CAMPAIGN PDF Print Email

14 August - Amalgamated Beverage Industries (ABI), the soft drink division of South African Breweries (SAB) launched the School Recycling Programme, where a total of 120 Primary Schools within ABI territories, KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng and will participate.  The competition starts on the 14 August – 31 October but official briefing sessions were held during winter school holidays.

Rivoningo starts a new competition from Wednesday 19 October 2011. We will give away boxes of SlideAword rulers from Powerule. The competition is themed Learning to read is now fun. Learners are encouraged to watch Rivoningo and enter the competition. The winner receives a box of SlideAword rulers for their school.  Learners whose are visited will also be lucky recipients of the SlideA word ruler.
